Youth Driving GHG Reduction through Innovation

The younger generation must play an active role in reducing greenhouse gases (GHG). With Generation Z (1997–2012) and millennials (1981–1996) making up more than half of the population, they will be central to the energy transition toward net-zero emissions by 2060. As future leaders and workers, they can accelerate the shift from fossil fuels to renewables. In line with government programs, young people are encouraged to influence policy, raise public awareness, and drive collaboration, innovation, and solutions for climate change.
